The Dream

After the success of the first Balboa campaign retreat, the story wasn’t finished in fact, it was just getting started. Balboa returned to us with a new collection and one clear request: “Let’s continue the narrative.” Instead of starting over, we chose to build upon the foundation we had already created. We brought back Charlotte and Charmaine, the original muses from our first shoot, and invited them to continue telling the story of Balboam this time in a more grounded, Dutch setting.

The Challenge

  • Fresh campaign content for a new drop with updated colorways

  • Continuity in storytelling and muses from the first retreat

  • A Dutch backdrop to root the brand in its home market

  • Behind-the-scenes storytelling to show the creative direction of the brand

  • Assets for both social and website, including Reels, photos, and a brand video

  • Content that could function as a campaign, but still feel personal, light, and real

The Vision

To show the evolution of the brand through the evolution of the women wearing it. From soft morning rituals to shared brainstorms and confident movement through the day, the Balboa loungewear once again became a visual anchor for personal growth, creativity, and presence.

The Storytelling Approach

  • Storyline Continuity: Instead of introducing new faces, we deepened the connection with Charlotte and Charmaine—positioning them not just as models, but as long-term muses and storytellers of the brand.

  • Dutch Environment: This retreat was set in the Netherlands, showing how Balboa translates from a dreamy abroad setting to a local, everyday lifestyle—bringing the brand closer to its roots.

  • Retreat Format, Reimagined: We replicated the relaxed, connection-first setting of the first retreat to keep the tone soft, feminine, and real—while visually tying it to the new campaign.

  • Behind-the-Scenes Campaign Video: A hero piece showing how intentional content creation can carry meaning. The video explored how we use loungewear to embody creativity, confidence, and connection.

  • Multi-Use Content: We captured product imagery, UGC-style video, brand storytelling clips, and short-form assets in one cohesive flow.

  • Voice of the Brand: We continued supporting Balboa behind the scenes with social strategy, community collaborations, and monthly content delivery—keeping the founder behind the scenes while building a brand with soul.

The Results
